PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern switching device of a construction machine, surely switching an operation pattern in simple constitution. SOLUTION: An operation pattern switching valve 34 is provided between a pilot control valve 23 for controlling the operation of a work machine 11 and a pilot valve 30 and adapted to switch the operation pattern of the pilot valve by switching the communication relationship between an inlet port and an outlet port by a spool 34b. The operation pattern switching valve 34 is provided with a locking means 37 for locking the spool 34b by a lock pin 37c in starting an engine and releasing locking of the spool 34b in stopping the engine, whereby even if a maker of the construction machine is different, the work can be performed according to the operation pattern familiar to an operator, and since the locking means 37 of simple structure is adopted, the operation pattern switching device can be provided at a low price.
