<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a positional deviation of light beams at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of recording parts 4, and a light spot position detecting part 6 for detecting a light spot position of each light beam at the boundary of respective recording regions of adjacent recording parts 4 are set in the outer periphery of a drum 3 which is rotary driven.
