The invention relates to a domestic appliance, for example a refrigerator, comprising a housing, a recess (3) in the housing and a display screen (5) which can be swiveled relative to the housing and is disposed flush in the recess (3) of the housing. The display screen (5) is linked on its back with a pair of first arms (6, 6') so as to be rotatable about a first axis of rotation. The first arms can be extended from an expanded configuration in the flush arrangement of the display screen (5) to an angular configuration. In this angular configuration the at least one, first axis of rotation (29) is displaced beyond the recess (3), thereby allowing swiveling the display screen about the first axis of rotation (29). |
