A frame(2) carries a support(3) for the reactive components(6,7) contained inside cylinders(5.1,5.2,5.3). The support comprises a base(4) with drive unit(13) for actuating the three or more cylinders. Components are fed from each cylinder to the a mixing head(8) via lines(9). The base(4) has a hydraulic, mechanical , electrical and/or pneumatic drive system(13) which raises and lowers a baseplate(14) connected to the cylinders(5.1,5.2,5.3). Valves(10,11,12) in the connecting lines(9) metering the appropriate quantity of components to the mixing head(8). Flexible connecting lines may be used. No flushing of the mixing head is required as the static mixer is simply disposed of after use. The paste components can be mixed in quantities up to 10000ml. The mixing head can be removed from the mobile unit for mixing and delivery of pastes.
