<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an algae pigment composition prevented from decomposition of algae pigment in a water-existing high-temperature condition at 80-90°C, and further excellent in thermal stability. <P>SOLUTION: The algae pigment composition comprises algae pigment, trehalose, glycerol and/or propylene glycol. The algae pigment composition is formulated with 1 pt.wt. of blue pigment, 50-150 pts.wt. of the trehalose, and 1-20 pts.wt. of the glycerol and/or propylene glycol. The algae pigment composition may have 1-20 pts.wt. of water.
