TERMINAL BOX FOR SOLAR CELL MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal box for a solar cell module having a good heat radiating characteristic while ensuring the reliability of connection.

SOLUTION: A bypass diode 50 consists of: a mesa-type bare chip diode 51; and a pair of conductor plates 52 connected to the bare chip diode 51 so that this is sandwiched between them. Each conductor plate 52 is superposed on a terminal plate 30 juxtaposed with a substrate 11 along the direction of the plane of the terminal plate 30, and is joined to the corresponding terminal plate 30 by applying supersonic vibration to the superposed part 60. The n-side conductor plate 52A of respective conductor plates 52 has a larger thickness size than the p-side conductor plate 52B.
