发明名称 METHOD FOR PROCESSING FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC BY HIGH ENERGY BEAM
摘要 PURPOSE:To minimize the heat effected part generated in the matrix of an article to be processed into a product, by irradiating fiber reinforced plastic with high energy beam under a condition specified from the heat conductivity, specific heat and density of the fiber in said plastic. CONSTITUTION:In performing the processing of FRP by high energy beam, the relative scanning speed of said beam is set to the quotient of 20,000 times of the heat conductivity of a reinforcing fiber and the density/specific heat thereof or more. By this setting, excessive quantity of heat receiving from the beam outer peripheral region at the time of beam irradiation and the quantity of heat transmitted through the reinforcing fiber having high heat conductivity are minimized and the heat affected part of a matrix caused by quantity of heat can be suppressed to a min. degree.
