PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain irregularly waving of an article to be recorded to a liquid injection head. SOLUTION: The platen arranged to confront the liquid injection head for injecting liquid to the article to be recorded by reciprocating against the article to be recorded is provided with a guide front member of sheet metal having a plurality of ribs arranged in parallel along the direction to which the liquid injection head reciprocates and supporting the article to be recorded, and guiding the article to be recorded to the position confronting the liquid injection head; and a guide auxiliary member made of resin having an auxiliary rib arranged between the plurality of ribs of the guide front member along the direction to which the liquid injection head reciprocates so as to be parallel to the plurality of the ribs and supporting the article to be recorded, and arranged on the opposite side of the liquid injection head in the guide front member.
