PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump control device capable of easily controlling rotation of a pump motor in response to temperature of operating fluid, while lowering costs. SOLUTION: This pump control device 14 has the pump motor 15 for driving a hydraulic pump 4 and a pump motor controller 16 for controlling rotation of the pump motor 15. The pump motor 15 is a motor with a temperature sensor formed by assembling a temperature sensor 17 for correcting motor temperature characteristic, and the temperature sensor 17 detects temperature of the pump motor 15 itself. The pump motor controller 16, to which a detecting signal of the temperature sensor 17 is input, estimates temperature of the operating fluid on the basis of the estimation data showing relation between the temperature of the pump motor, which is previously stored in a memory, with the temperature of the operating fluid, which is discharged from the hydraulic pump 4, to control the rotational speed of the pump motor 15 on the basis of the estimated temperature.
