<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in an image forming apparatus that the control of image forming process conditions comprising a plurality of stages has to be performed at prescribed intervals of every stage in order to maintain image quality; and that a user feels that waiting time is long when image output is suspended until finishing the control of the conditions, when an image output command is issued when a plurality of processes are continuously conducted. <P>SOLUTION: When the image output command (S12) is received, the control of the conditions is interrupted (S14) and the image output is started (S15) when the control of the conditions is being performed (S13). When the image output is finished, whether the control of the conditions is being interrupted (S16) is checked, and flow is finished when the control of the conditions is not interrupted. When the control of the conditions is interrupted, whether the restart condition of the control of the conditions is satisfied (S17) is checked, and the control of the conditions is performed (S18) when the condition is satisfied. When the condition is not satisfied, whether a key input is performed is checked, and operation is returned to S15 when the image output command is issued, and returned to the confirmation of the restart condition when the image output command is not issued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
