DECOMPOSING STERILIZING TREATMENT METHOD FOR VIRUS IN WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposing sterilizing treatment method of a virus having remarkable decomposing sterilizing effect of the virus which cannot be attained by conventional UV light sterilization and especially to provide the decomposing sterilizing treatment method of the virus which utilizes a principle of effectively generating OH radicals without using a photocatalyst and which has virus decomposing effect at least comparable to that by photocatalyst-UV light sterilization. SOLUTION: In the decomposing sterilizing treatment method of the virus in water, UV light having wavelength of≥100 nm and <240 nm and UV light having wavelength of≥240 nm and≤300 nm are radiated into virus-containing water to be treated.
