PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine having a plurality of kinds of game types and allowing a player to select a game type out of the plurality of kinds of game types. SOLUTION: This slot machine which has the plurality of kinds of game types is provided with an image display device 50 electrically displaying reel image groups composed of reel images and displaying a performance in the game by the rotating display of the reel images, a game type selecting means 63 selecting either game type out of the plurality of kinds of game types by a predetermined operation of the player, a display symbol pattern storage means 83a storing a plurality of kinds of display symbol patterns to be displayed on the respective reel pictures, and a display symbol pattern selecting means 83b selecting the display symbol patterns of the respective reel pictures from the display symbol pattern storage means 83a based on the game type selected by the game type selecting means 63.
