PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the distortion of a video or an audio if data decoding is carried out when erroneous correction occurs in a scramble seed while it is necessary to decode data impossible to be corrected so as to reproduce an audio or a vide in real time. SOLUTION: During demodulation, an IED for detecting the error of DataID including a scramble seed is checked to determine the reliability of the DataID, and the value of the DataID whose reliability is secured is stored in an area different from that of the buffering of demodulated data by a CPU or the like. After error correction, the value of the Data ID stored in the different area is overwritten regarding the DataID whose error correction is executed. Thus, even when the DataID is subjected to error correction, the reliable DataID is used, and descrambling is carried out in the reliable state of a scramble seed.
