PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device preventing generation of engine stall even when an anti-lock brake system is operated to a vehicle in the lock up state during traveling on a lowμroad. SOLUTION: The control device for the vehicle is provided with a lock up mechanism (45) and ABS (31, 10) and is provided with an engine rotation speed state detection means (37) for detecting the actual state of the engine rotation speed; and braking pressure control means (31, 10) for controlling the braking pressure of a wheel such that the actual state of the detected engine rotation speed becomes target of the engine rotation speed when the ABS (31, 10) is operated relative to the vehicle in the lock up state.
