PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method and a device for washing and sterilizing a hemodialysis system which facilitate the management of washing and sterilization and reduce time for the washing and sterilization. SOLUTION: The hemodialysis system has an RO treated water supply device 10 for producing RO treated water, or water treated by a reverse osmosis procedure, without containing impurities, dialysis agent dissolving devices 12, 14 for dissolving and producing a dialysis agent, a dialysis solution supplying device 16 for multiple people for preparing a dialysis solution for performing dialysis, and a monitoring device 18 for a plurality of patients with the function of performing dialysis on patients on the supply of the dialysis solution. A washing and sterilizing liquid supply device 36 for supplying a washing and sterilizing liquid is provided at a receiving inlet for tap water of the RO treated water supply device 10. The device 36 contains the RO treated water supply device 10, and washes and sterilizes the device 16, the monitoring system 18 on the downstream side, and piping between the devices by the washing and sterilizing liquid passing through them.
