PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly increase and decrease a voltage value of a drive voltage while reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: The drive voltage controller 1 is provided with a timing control part 11, a VCOM voltage generating part 12, operational amplifiers 13H, 13L, smoothing capacitors C14H, C14L, a switch SW1, and an output terminal 15. The timing control part 11 controls ON/OFF of the switches SW1, SW2 by using control signals S1, S2, and controls driving capabilities of the operation amplifiers 13H, 13L by using control signals S3, S4. The timing control part 11 turns on the switch SW1, and turns off the switch SW2 when output of the operational amplifier 13H (the drive voltage VCOMH) is supplied to the output terminal 15.
