PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly property of a strut type suspension. SOLUTION: This upper support structure of the suspension is provided with a mounting member 24 for mounting an upper support 10 on a vehicle body, an upper part bracket 16 connected with a piston rod 14 of a shock absorber 12, a first mount rubber member nipped between the mounting member 24 and the upper part bracket 16 and transmitting input from the piston rod 14 to the mounting member 24, an upper insulator 32 connected with a coil spring 30, a strut bearing 50 supporting the upper insulator 32 turnably, and a second mount rubber member nipped between the mounting member 24 and the strut bearing 50 and transmitting input from the coil spring 30 to the mounting member 24.
