The invention includes a chemical composition for use in drilling operations for oil recovery and the method of using the chemical composition. The chemical composition includes an ammonia compound, an alcohol, and aqueous carrier solution. The aqueous carrier solution is of sufficient volume such that it is operable to fully dissolve the ammonia compound and alcohol in the aqueous carrier solution.</p> |
