PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strengthening structure which is used for enhancing the earthquake resistance of not only a newly constructed building but also an existing building, and which enables strengthening work to be performed without the leaving of a tenant, particularly, in the case of the existing building. SOLUTION: This strengthening structure comprises: a skeleton which is composed of a column of the building and a beam thereof; at least two anchoring bases which are mounted on the side of an exterior wall surface of the skeleton or a side surface thereof; and a brace, one end of which is attached to one of the anchoring bases, and the other end of which is attached to the other anchoring base.
