摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of collecting image data in a short period while suppressing degrading of an S/N. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging system 20 is for carrying out parallel imaging by using a plurality of high frequency coils 24 of respectively different sensitivity distribution is provided with: a means for selectively exciting a plurality of cross sections by applying high frequency magnetic field pulse of different phased to a patient P nearly simultaneously; a means for collecting magnetic resonance signal occurring from the patient P by each of the plurality of high frequency coils 24; and a means 41 which generates an image with the magnetic resonance signal obtained by each of the high frequency coils 24 and thereafter carries out developing processing of parallel imaging based on the sensitivity distribution.
