PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial fish reef installed in rivers, having such a shape as to be fit in with a form of a wand changeable into various forms, capable of being appropriately installed and built by simple fitting work, and capable of being installed and structured so as to be well suited for habit of freshwater fish. SOLUTION: In this fish reef, a fish reef body 1 is constructed by using wood, fabricating the wood into a multistage rack shape, and joining poles 11 made of the wood to peripheral areas of the fabricated body 1, and simultaneously the poles 11 which are joined to the peripheral areas are arranged and fabricated, so as to occupy prescribed configurational positions on the peripheral areas used as an outline of a predetermined zone, and thus, the fish reef body 1 used as a unit shape is structured. Further, a base 2 to which the fish reef body 1 is joined and which is formed of concrete is molded into a flat board having a shape approximately equal to that of a bottom surface of the fish reef body 1, and mortises 22 for receiving the poles 11 are arranged and bored in positions corresponding to the configurational positions of the poles 11 of the fish reef body 1, so that the reef fish is fabricated by combining the base 2 with the fish reef body 1.
