PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the execution of a control task to be executed for every set period. SOLUTION: The digital controller has: an interruption means 2 for generating an interrupt signal 10 with a set period; an execution control means 1 for controlling execution of a control task 3 in response to the interrupt signal 10; and a means for inhibiting interruption from tasks other than the control task during execution of the control task. The control task 3 has the set period divided into a control task 3a for arithmetic processing including parameters and a control task 3b for arithmetic processing using an arithmetic result of the control task 3a, and the execution control mean 1 executes at least the control task 3a out of the control task to be executed next, within a set period T in response to detecting task overrun that the control task 3 is not terminated within the set period T.
