PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid leakage inspection method of inspection object and a liquid leakage inspecting device of inspection object, capable of inspecting not only metal mold but also various inspection objects requiring airtightness, such as a liquid tank dispensing with being carried to a place, provided with a plumbing system or without individual differences among workers, even if the workers are not experts, and rapidly detecting even a minute leakage, in a short time. SOLUTION: This method comprises injecting pressurized air to an airtight space requiring airtightness of liquid of an inspection object having the airtight space up to a predetermined pressure, and detecting a change in air pressure in the airtight space by a pressure sensor, to inspect for liquid leakage of the airtight space. When the inspection object is a metal mold having a refrigerant passage, pressurized air is injected to the refrigerant passage, up to a predetermined pressure, and changes in the air pressure in the refrigerant passage are detected by the pressure sensor to inspect for liquid leakage of the refrigerant passage. This liquid leakage inspection device of inspection object comprises a pressurized air feeder, capable of injecting pressurized air into an airtight space of an inspection object having the airtight space, an opening and closing valve capable of opening and closing a pressurized air feeding passage, a pressure sensor capable of measuring air pressure in the sealed space, and a control board capable of performing condition setting, operation and the like of such equipment.
