PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the cable status with a high confidence while suppressing the malfunction and incorrect determination in the cable status monitoring. SOLUTION: The direction of the measured signal is determined by measuring the zero phase voltage and the zero phase current at each detection point for deterioration diagnosis of a cable under operation. For measuring the current pulse, a current sensor having≥50 kHz frequency response characteristics is used and the sampling frequency for sufficiently detecting the oscillation wave form is made≥50 kHz.
