PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a joint plate by surely preventing short-circuiting of a refrigerant inlet header part and a refrigerant outlet header part, and to improve assembling workability of the joint plate in manufacturing the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: This joint plate half-completed product 60 comprises a refrigerant inflow part 45 and a refrigerant outflow part 46 mounted at interval in the longitudinal direction. A slit 61 extended in the vertical direction is formed between the refrigerant inflow part 45 and the refrigerant outflow part 46. Penetrated slit width adjustment parts 62, 63 wider than the slit 61 are respectively formed in a state of being connected with upper and lower end parts of the slits 61. An upper part with respect to the upper slit width adjustment part 62 and a lower part with respect to the lower slit width adjustment part 63 of the joint plate half-completed product 60 are respectively bent to shorten the half-completed product 60 in the longitudinal direction, and the longitudinal width of the slit 61 is narrowed in the joint plate 21.
