PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a private CATV system configured in a building in which an external network, e.g. the Internet, can be accessed at high speed through the transmission line of its system. SOLUTION: A terminal on the transmission line 12 of a private CATV system is provided with a media converter 22 and an Internet connection device 20 having four access points 26 for wireless LAN connectable with an external network through a router 24 having an address conversion function, and the antenna connection terminal at each access point 26 is connected with the transmission line 12 through a four-distributor 27. A two-way amplifier 10 on the head end side is provided with a function for retransmitting a wireless LAN signal inputted from the terminal side through the transmission line 12 to the terminal side.
