PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing material instead of alumina particles in a composite plated article and its production method. SOLUTION: A metallic plating liquid is mixed with a surfactant and carbon nanofiber to prepare a plating liquid for composite plating, and, plating treatment performed using the composite plating liquid, so as to obtain the composite plated article. In the composite plated article, the ratio of the plating metal is 50 to 98 vol.%, and the content of the carbon nanofiber is 2 to 50 vol.%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
