FIELD: metallurgy; production of aluminum and its alloys. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed plant for refining aluminum and its alloys includes working chamber mounted in housing and formed by walls and bottom made from refractory material and vertical partition mounted in working chamber which stops short of bottom; this partition is also made from refractory material; plant is also provided with filter element mounted horizontally inside working chamber between its walls and vertical partition; it is additionally provided with detachable cover and detachable frame made from refractory material and supported by projections made in lining of walls and in vertical partition; detachable filter element is mounted in detachable frame; bottom of working chamber is inclined at angle of 3-5° towards tap-hole. ^ EFFECT: enhanced purification of metal; reduced labor consumption; extended functional capabilities. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
