<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material whereon a recording image can be formed or erased many times in a high-contrast and high-sensitivity manner, and by which the stable image can be held with time even in various types of environments. <P>SOLUTION: In this reversible thermal recording material, a colorless or light-colored electron-donating dye precursor, a reversible color developer which makes a color tone of the dye precursor reversibly changed by a difference in cooling speed after heating, and a color erasing accelerator are contained on a substrate; and the color erasing accelerator is a compound wherein at least one unsaturated bond is provided in a hydrocarbon radical in a molecule. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
