Sun visor for a vehicle, arranged to be fitted for being raised and lowered in a vehicle cab, comprising a first sun visor element (12) and a second sun visor element (32) which is pivotably supported relative to the first. To enable the dazzle preventing capacity of the sun visor to be varied steplessly between raised and lowered positions, there is proposed inter alia a setting mechanism which is arranged in the first sun visor element (12) and comprises a manually operable control means (24) for setting the angle of the second sun visor element (32) relative to the first sun visor element at desired mutual angle positions between about 0 and 180 degrees.
