<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active diode in which forward voltage and reverse current are reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The active diode comprises an NMOS transistor having source, drain, gate and back gate terminals wherein the source terminal is connected with the back gate terminal to become the anode terminal of the active diode and the drain terminal becomes the cathode terminal of the active diode, an offset bias voltage source having first and second terminals, and an amplifier having an non-inverted input terminal, an inverted input terminal and an output terminal wherein the inverted input terminal is connected with the drain terminal of the transistor, the non-inverted input terminal is connected with the first terminal of the offset bias voltage source, and the output terminal is connected with the gate terminal of the transistor.
