<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of footbath where a period of bathing, the temperature of hot water and a method of warming are not difference depending on a therapist but are standardized, and a sufficient effect of footbath is given by accelerating the blood flow of an examinee and raising his temperature. <P>SOLUTION: Hot water at a desired temperature and of a quantity for soaking to the ankle at least is put into a container. Both of the legs are soaked in this water and massaged for warming. Additional hot water is put into the container to raise the temperature of the hot water to 40 to 42°C, and the whole of both of the legs are massaged in the hot water using a towel. The legs are raised one by one from the hot water and wiped with a wet towel. Then, both of the legs are wrapped with a warming cloth for a prescribed period, and the warming cloth is removed from both of the leg parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
