PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which meets the need for reduction of a diameter of the photoreceptor and a process of high peripheral speed attributable to miniaturization and high speed of a copying machine and a printer device and which has high sensitivity in a long wavelength region, is free from deterioration in electric characteristics even when being repetitively used and has high stability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed by layering a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating agent, a charge transferring agent and a binder resin on a conductive support, wherein the charge generating agent is oxytitanium phthalocyanine having the maximum peak at 27.3°Bragg angle (2θ±0.2°) in an X-ray diffraction spectrum using CuKαas a ray source and the charge transferring agent contains a compound represented by formula in Fig. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
