PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently utilizing a low-concentration aqueous (meth)acrylic acid solution formed in the (meth)acrylic acid production and storage steps. SOLUTION: A (meth)acrylic acid derivative is produced by using as a raw material an aqueous (meth)acrylic acid solution formed in (meth)acrylic production by at least either of a means for decreasing the pressure of a gas containing (meth)acrylic acid and a means for collecting (meth)acrylic acid from the gas containing (meth)acrylic acid.
