PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording/reproducing device and an information recording/reproducing method by which data writing can be smoothly and speedily continued without breaking the data even when the data writing is interrupted, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: A TOC information recording section 11 and a CD discriminating section 12 are arranged on a CD player 2. A recording control section 8 is constituted so that data writing to a hard disk 7 is interrupted when the main power source system of the device 1 is turned off or the CD is ejected. Also, a temporary track preserving section 9 for temporarily storing the data written into the hard disk 7 before interruption as a temporary one track, and a recording section 10 of a sub-code for indicating the position where data writing is interrupted, are provided to the recording control section 8.
