PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient core assembling device and a convenient core assembling method which reduce the assembly work. SOLUTION: The core assembling device 10 comprises: a tire holding mechanism 20 to hold a pneumatic tire 12; a core holding unit 22 to hold a core 16; and a turning/elevating/lowering mechanism 24 which turnably holds the core holding unit 22 around a horizontal turning shaft 52, and elevates the core holding unit 22 to push the core 16 into a rim-fitting opening 12M of the pneumatic tire 12 from the outer circumferential side of the core. The core is hence assembled in the pneumatic tire by one core assembling device 10 in a completely automatic manner in a short time, which realizes the convenient core assembling device 10 reducing the time for the assembly time.
