PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for replacing a whole oven top duct of a coke oven, where the process can be performed in a shorter period than the period of a conventional one. SOLUTION: The oven top duct exchange device 10 is equipped with the 1st carriage 12 movable on a rail 68 running along the direction of an oven top duct 90 supported by a support rod 82, the 2nd carriage 28 movable back and forth on the surface 16 of the 1st carriage 12 toward the support rod 82 and a bearing device 38 which can bear a cut oven top duct on the 2nd carriage 28.
