PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for stretching screen gauze capable of manufacturing a screen plate by which highly accurate screen printing can be realized by efficiently preventing the occurrence of a strain in a screen at spots close to the four corner parts after uniformly and laterally imparting prescribed tension to the screen. SOLUTION: Prescribed tension can be imparted to a clamped screen after clamping the front/rear and the right/left of the screen by clamping devices at the front, rear, right, and left parts in the device for stretching screen gauze. The device for stretching screen gauze is composed of auxiliary clamping devices at the front/rear parts capable of laterally imparting prescribed tension to the screen by clamping both end parts of the screen in the vicinity of the clamping devices at the front/rear parts when the screen is clamped by the clamping devices at the front/rear parts.
