PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book with a board game provided with a recessed part for storage capable of storing moving bodies for a board game such as pieces for Shogi (Japanese chess) and go stones for the game of Go in the rear face of a front cover of a text book or the like. SOLUTION: At least a plurality of one front covers 3 of the text book 1 are overlapped and formed thickly. The recessed part 6 for storage, which is formed by leaving the edge part 5 after cutting, is provided to the rear face of the front cover 3. The rear face of the game board 8a made of a metal plate material, on which ruled lines used for Shogi/Go or the like are printed, is arranged to the bottom face of the recessed part 6 for storage by bonding. A plurality of the moving bodies 9 such as the pieces for Shogi/the go stones for Go, which are provided with a rubber-made magnetic body 11 attracted to the surface of the metal plate material 8, can be freely detachably/attachably stored in the bottom face of the recessed part 6 for storage.
