<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable, small, lightweight white-light emitting device that can generate a low color-temperature white color. <P>SOLUTION: A fluorescent screen of a massive ZnSSe including 10<SP>17</SP>cm<SP>-3</SP>or more of either one of Al, Ga, In, Br, Cl, and I is combined with InGaN-LED that generates a blue color of 410 nm-460 nm to excite the ZnSSe fluorescent screen by the blue so as to generate a yellow color, and then the blue and the yellow generated are synthesized into a white color. The ZnSSe is turned massive, does not absorb water, and thus does not deteriorate. The InGaN-LED is durable, and the massive ZnSSe does not deteriorate, which will produce a durable white-light emitting device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
