The device has a heat exchanger with primary and secondary circuits to exchange heat. The circuits are traversed by hot waste water from shower and cold water from a cold water network, respectively. The cold water passing through exchanger recovers heat. The secondary circuit`s exit is connected to the network to supply shower, so that temperature of the cold water arriving at shower is increased and hot water consumption is decreased.
