PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication relay device 2 which requires no input operation of addresses. SOLUTION: A communication relay device 2 according to the present invention is located between two networks 1 and 3 having different communication protocols and relays communication between both networks using different addresses in conformity with the communication protocols of two networks 1 and 3. When power is turned on or a user operation is performed, the communication relay device 2 acquires addresses of a plurality of devices 30 composing one network 3, generates addresses in conformity with the communication protocol of the other network 1 based on the acquired addresses for each of the devices 30, and then relays communication between both networks by using the acquired addresses and the generated addresses.
