<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam shaping device which can stably and securely shape a flat light beam into a non-flat light beam with good reproducibility with easy-to-manufacture, small-sized constitution and which is highly practical, and to provide a laser oscillation device and a laser machining device. <P>SOLUTION: In this beam shaping device 10, a laser beam 18 which is made incident from a beam incidence port 14 of a substrate end surface and which is laterally flat is totally reflected again and again by a substrate reverse surface 12b and a substrate top surface 12a to be propagated zigzag in a transparent substrate 12 toward a beam projection port 16, and beam components LB<SB>a</SB>, LB<SB>b</SB>, LB<SB>c</SB>, LB<SB>d</SB>, ..., of the laser beam 18 which reaches the beam projection port 16 through N propagation paths differing in repetition frequency of total reflection are projected from the beam projection port 16 to outside the transparent substrate 12 in parallel, thereby regenerating a non-flat laser beam 22 whose radiation distribution is longitudinally expanded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
