WATERING DEVICE

A watering device for plants comprises a water-storing element that is surrounded by a water-permeable textile construction. The water-storing element can be a polymer in granular, powder or solid form or ceramic bodies form the water-storing element that is held by the water-permeable textile construction while being secured thereby. The inventive watering device can store a multiple of the water that natural humus can store. When a suction pressure is applied to the inventive water-storing elements, these water-storing elements release the stored water to their immediate surroundings.
