PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermittent rotary frying machine capable of properly releasing the moisture of food materials and enabling uniform heating cooking to provide tasty dishes, and to enhance a heating efficiency of a pot to contribute to energy saving and cost saving, and to elongate the life of the pot preventing the partial degradation of the pot. SOLUTION: The intermittent rotary frying machine has the pot rotatably supported by a frame body in horizontal or inclined condition, a driving mechanism for rotating the pot, a heating means for heating the pot, a rotation control means for controlling the rotation of the pot, is characterized by that a cycle of the rotation and stop of the pan is continuously done, and stop positions of the pot are different at every time of the stop of the pot.
