PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of enhancing a productivity by exactly judging the time requiring a nozzle restoration processing and then reducing the vain liquid-droplets caused by an unnecessary nozzle-restoration processing and a nozzle restoration method. SOLUTION: The image formation device is a liquid-droplets discharge head with two or more nozzles which perform an image-recording operation by discharging the liquid-droplets to a recording medium, and the device is equipped with two or more nozzles discharging the liquid-droplets under designated discharge conditions established beforehand, a discharge detection means detecting the liquid-droplets discharging state from two or more nozzles performing the discharge under the designated discharge conditions and a restoration control means which controls the time requiring the restoration processing for two or more nozzles performing the image-recording according to the results detected by the discharge detection means.
