<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrenic resin composition which has a high melt tension and high fluidity, which, in case it is used, gives a wide melt viscosity range in the secondary molding of a foamed sheet, and which enables the manufacture of containers widely ranging in the ratio of a depth and an opening. <P>SOLUTION: The styrenic resin composition comprises a linear polystyrene and a multi-branched polystyrene, (1) its weight average mol. wt. determined by GPC-MALLS method being 250,000-750,000, (2) the slope in a logarithm graph obtained by setting the weight average mol. wt. as a transverse axis and the radius of inertia of the resin composition determined by GPC-MALLS as a longitudinal axis being 0.35-0.45, and (3) the composition being used for molding foamed containers having a depth(H)-to-opening(W) ratio (H/W) of 0.2-0.8. The sheet by extrusion foaming using the resin composition is provided. The container by the secondary molding of the foamed sheet is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
