PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance interest of a portable electronic apparatus by providing a plurality of display sections. SOLUTION: A top plate 12 having a camera on the surface and a display section on the rear surface, intermediate plates 50-52 each having a display section on the rear surface, and a coverplate 14 having an operating section on the rear surface are fixed rotatably through a common hinge and the top plate 12 and the intermediate plates 50-52 are extended individually for the coverplate 14 in sectoral shape from the containing position where the front profiles overlap at the time of taking a photograph. A predetermined photography mode is selected automatically depending on the number of extended plates 12, 50-52 and a plurality of images subjected to image processing depending on the photography mode are displayed, respectively, at the display section of the extended plates.
