PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video audio output device, equipped with a plasma display panel for lessening noise due to a cooling fan, when a sound volume of the video audio output device is small. SOLUTION: The video audio output device, equipped with the plasma display panel, comprises the cooling fan for cooling the temperature of the inside of a device body, a temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the inside of the device body, an input means for inputting a sound volume value for regulating the sound volume of an output sound volume, the sound volume value input by the input means, and a control means for controlling the rotational speed of the cooling fan, on the basis of the detection temperature of the temperature detector.
