PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor for performing sufficient lubrication without supplying oil unnecessarily to reduce a rate of oil content in discharged refrigerant and thereby to prevent degradation in heat efficiency. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor 1 comprises: a main bearing 19 disposed in a sealed housing 3; a rotational shaft 39 rotatably journaled to the main bearing 19 and a rolling bearing 41 disposed to the housing 3 to be connected with a drive source outside the housing 3; a mechanical seal 51 disposed to the rotational shaft 39 on a drive source side from the main bearing 19 and rolling bearing 41; a fixed scroll 21; and a swirl scroll 23. A minute clearance part 53 is disposed in front of the rolling bearing 41 to block a flow of lubricating oil to the rear, the lubricating oil is supplied between the minute clearance part 53 and the mechanical seal 51, and an oil pump 57 is disposed to supply the lubricating oil to a drive part of the swirl scroll 23 and the main bearing 19.
